Igredients

  • 1 kg of cubed beef

  • 1 onion, sliced (for marinade)

  • 1 1/2 cups of beer

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 onions, sliced

  • 5 cloves garlic, minced

  • 250 g of sliced mushrooms

  • 200 g diced bacon

  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons mustard

  • 1 teaspoon of paprika

  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • Water (as needed)

  • 1 tablespoon of corn starch

  • 1 cup of water (to dissolve the starch)

  • Chives to taste

How to do it

  • In a bowl, combine the meat, sliced onions, and beer. Mix well, cover, and let marinate for at least 1 hour (or up to 12 hours for more flavor).
  • Drain the meat well using a sieve, discarding the marinade liquid.
  • In a large pan, melt the butter and add the meat. Brown well, stirring until all sides are sealed. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add the bacon, sliced onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté until lightly browned.
  • Add the soy sauce, mustard, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add a little water and cook over medium heat for approximately 30 minutes, until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.
  • Mix the cornstarch dissolved in water and stir well. Cook for another 10 minutes, until the sauce is creamy.
  • Finish with chopped chives to taste and serve immediately.
