1 kg of cubed beef
1 onion, sliced (for marinade)
1 1/2 cups of beer
2 tablespoons butter
2 onions, sliced
5 cloves garlic, minced
250 g of sliced mushrooms
200 g diced bacon
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
2 tablespoons mustard
1 teaspoon of paprika
½ teaspoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
Water (as needed)
1 tablespoon of corn starch
1 cup of water (to dissolve the starch)
Chives to taste
How to do it
- In a bowl, combine the meat, sliced onions, and beer. Mix well, cover, and let marinate for at least 1 hour (or up to 12 hours for more flavor).
- Drain the meat well using a sieve, discarding the marinade liquid.
- In a large pan, melt the butter and add the meat. Brown well, stirring until all sides are sealed. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the bacon, sliced onions, garlic, and mushrooms. Sauté until lightly browned.
- Add the soy sauce, mustard, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Add a little water and cook over medium heat for approximately 30 minutes, until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.
- Mix the cornstarch dissolved in water and stir well. Cook for another 10 minutes, until the sauce is creamy.
- Finish with chopped chives to taste and serve immediately.
